Seremban BBQ Crab Dinner

Yesterday, I went to Seremban to enjoy my favourite Seremban 'Siew Hai' (BBQ Crab). I love the way the crab was prepared - deliciously finger lickin' good! We had a table of 15, my family, Yenli's family and Ah Ku's family.

Here is a picture of Yenli posing for my supposedly candid shot.

Family photo time! I must say that having dinner was really fun with so many people around, though it was a bit crampy. We ate, drank and laughed.

Lou sang time!!! Table was in a mess after this.

Then came my favourite dish.... Seremban Siew Hai. Yummy!!! We also ordered salty egg yolk crab as well, but nothing beats the BBQ crab.

Picture taken with my cousin sisters, Mei Mei and Ying Ying.

The real reason behind this dinner was to celebrate Raymond's birthday. He turns 30th this year. After dinner, we went back to Raymond's house for birthday cake and a bottle of whisky.

Me and August, Yenfang's baby who was named after the month he was born. He is so adorable!

恭喜发财! !

The Rat has bid us farewell and now it's time to welcome the Ox.

Here's wishing everyone a very Happy 牛 Year!!
May the 牛 year brings you all that you wished for.

Good Luck

Good Fortune

Good Health

Prosperity

新年快乐!!!

恭喜发财!!!!

Tiring Day

Yesterday, I woke up early in the morning and head down to Seremban to have breakfast with my Grandma. Saw Grandma and am glad that she is healthy and fine. She fell down a couple of days ago from the stairs and thank God nothing serious happened.

Here is picture taken with Grandma.

At noon, cousin sisters Yenli and Yenfang came to my house to pick me and mum up. We headed to Klang to try the 'dry bak kut teh'. Good food... happy moments.

Here's me and Yenfang.

Mum, Yenli and my aunt.

We headed back to Yenfang's bf's house and took some pictures of her sporty Fairlady Z. Nice car!

Yenfang... kereta banyak kotor... pegi cuci!

Three leng luis and a beautiful car...

It was a tiring day for me, but good and fun despite me having sakit perut because of too much food!

Passport Renewal

I was supposed to meet Patrick on Tuesday after my passport renewal. But I did not meet him that day because I had a rather hilarious passport renewal process.

I woke up early in the morning, spent about 45 minutes in the traffic before reaching Kompleks Wilayah. Then I found out that the immigration department was closed. The officer there told me that the office 'sudah pindah' and asked me to go the one in Kota Damansara, the nearest to KL. And off I went to Kota Damansara.

Before I was about to reach, I realised something. SH*T!!! I forgot to bring my passport!!! How can you not bring your passport for renewal??!!!

No choice... head back home to get my passport. I called up immigration and asked them the nearest office to Serdang Raya. I was told to go to the Kajang Immigration dept. My Dad knows where the Kajang immigration office is as he just went there a couple of weeks ago. So off I went to Kajang.

When I reached that place, I couldn't find it and asked around. Then I was told: 'Sudah pindah'. WTF!!!!! Pindah again?? Why always pindah here and there? But luckily the new office is still within Kajang and there wasn't many people there. I managed to collect my passport within 2 hours but I missed the appointment with Patrick that day.

I ended up going to 4 places just to get my passport renewed. Damn!

Finally met up with Patrick on Wednesday at Dome Cafe, KLCC and had a good laugh over my passport renewal encounter.

Thean Hou Temple

I decided to skip the CNY crowd and visit Thean Hou temple earlier to pay my respect to the Goddess of Thean Hou. It was beautifully decorated and full of CNY spirit.

Here are some pictures taken.

Lizard in the Car

Last night, me and my family went out for shopping. When I got into the car, Brother gave me tissue and asked my to wiped off all the lizard shits on the door, inside the car. He said there must be a lizard in the car. Gosh! I freaked out a little. I am afraid of lizards.

After we went for hokkien mee, we all got back into the car. I was at the front passenger seat. Then Brother shouted.... 'DON'T MOVE! DON'T MOVE....'

I was still blur... then he said... 'The lizard is up there... at the door.' I looked up and OMG!!!! It was above me, beside me... close proximity... just there!!!! I was stunned... and then I TOTALLY FREAKED OUT!!!!!

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF THERE IS A LIZARD IN YOUR CAR?????

I quickly asked brother to get out of the car as I wanted to get out from the driver's door. He freaked out too and was stucked at his seat because he couldn't remove the safety belt! The situation was damn hilarious... imagine everyone freaking out because of the small thing in the car!!!

We all went out, and my Dad got into the driver seat, wind down the passenger windscreen, caught the lizard with his bare hands (OMG!!! Yulks!!!) and threw it out of the window.

Phew... we were save! Dad came to our rescue!!!

I am just thankful that this did not happen while my Brother was driving... else we may have got into an accident!!! Hahahaha!

Priceless at KLIA

Flight from Shanghai to KL - 5 hours
Aerotrain to Main terminal - 3 minutes
Immigration clearance - 1 minute
Baggage claim - 40 minutes

Watching people complain and curse the KLIA baggage system - Priceless!!

I always have the same complain too. Couldn't understand why the system sucks.

Lonely...

I am feeling so lonely. Hubby is in SG now and he will be there for a few months. It will be a travelling first half of the year for him, which means I am on my own most of the time.

For the past few weeks, Hubby has been home all the time and he even cooked for me a couple of times. I guessed I got used to having him around all the time and now I feel a part of me missing. I just have to get used to being alone again. :(

Thank God I will be flying home on Saturday. Can't wait to meet my family and friends again. Also, can't wait to meet hokkien mee and chilli pan mee and gobble them up! Muahahaah!

Sinful Treat

Today, I had a sinful treat... Haagen Dazs Royale Fondue. Me and Hubby first went to karaoke, sang for 3 hours and then head to Haagen Dazs for a cold winter treat.

Sweet and Sinful... I was really full and totally left no room for dinner. Time for strict diet next week. :)

2009 New Year

Happy New Year!! My first post for 2009.

On new year's eve, I was still at work around 5.30pm. Dear Hubby was on leave for the past 2 weeks and he prepared a new year's eve dinner for me. I had a surprise when I got back home... this was what I saw:

I could never imagined that he would have done this so well. All the vegetables, tofu, cuttlefish was cut up nicely, and all arranged perfectly on the table. I could not have done this better! I am so proud of my Baby.

We just a simple hot pot dinner, watched some TVB series and saw Sydney's 2009 countdown on television at 8pm. Sydney's countdown was really good. Reminds me of 2008 HK countdown.

2009 started off simple, quiet and homely. Not sure whats in it for me in 2009. I hope it will be a good one but even if it turns out not as expected, I will try my best to make the best out of it.

Welcome 2009!! **Applause**
